Heart's Fetish

My boyfriend and I have matching canine rings that represent our love and our worship of Huehuecoyotl, who is represented by the coyote. We use the rings in our rituals to him as lovers, and it's a common Pagan concept to actually believe that such trinkets and idols actually contain the god they're dedicated in the name of. Hence the title having the word fetish in it. A fetish is an icon that is believed to contain a god or a spirit inside of it.

Anyway, I just got this gold chain so I can wear mine as a necklace and I thought it'd make a pretty photo to drape it over some wood. Nice texture and contrast between the cold wood and the golden ring and chain.
